Christmastime in the Magic Kingdom

Hello!

I am trying to plan a trip around the 1st week of December so we can see all of the Christmas decorations. Is the fireworks show during MVMCP the same show that can be seen the other "regular" nights at the Magic Kingdom during that time? I really want to see the castle all decked out in the lights, but it would be great not to shell out the extra cash for the party.

The castle is lit up everynight and wishes shows. MVMCP does have a seperate show but you can see the castle lights without paying for tha party!
