I'm figuring this is a really 'goofy' question, but . . . how busy is it? My daughter's band is playing in the Rose Parade, and we'll be taking a one-day trip to Disneyland. I'm just wondering how busy it will be (extremely - right!?!), and/or if anybody's got any suggestions of how to handle the day. I'm a WDW freak, but I've never been to Disneyland, and I have no real idea what to expect or how to plan.

It will be PACKED! Like literally wall-to-wall crowds and the park could potentially close due to too many people in the park. If it were me, I wouldn't go during that time because it's just too chaotic. However if you do decide to go, I would recommend getting there VERY early (like 6AM at the gates) so that you are guaranteed entrance into the park. However a major problem with going for 1 day is that they don't sell 1 day tickets in advance. However, do NOT buy them at the ticket booths. I think your best bet would be to call and pick them up at will call.

What day are you going and will you be staying at one of the DLR hotels while you are there? The difference would be that if you are staying and the day of your park visit is an MM day, at least you could get your tickets from the hotel and get in the park early to make use of that extra hour in the a.m. when the crowds are not there yet :thumbsup2
