Christmas week with a group - Dining

Has anyone gone Christmas week with a group and made group dining reservations? Just wondering if it's possible to get dining reservations for 17 ppl and how far in advance you can make them. Thanks!

I haven't done Christmas week, but I have done Thanksgiving week and made reservations for 12 people. You can make them 60 days in advance. We were able to get every one we wanted at the time we wanted, except for Blue Bayou. We did get a reservation there, but I was told by a CM that they only do two seating for parties that large a day - one for lunch (11:40) and another a dinner time (time I forget).

Thanks! Did you call or make them online. I could also do 2 different reservations I suppose, one for 8 adults and one for 9 adults.

It's worth noting that if you two reservations, they may not be seated near each other in the restaurant. They will do their best to accommodate you, but it might not be possible depending on where the tables for the larger groups are located. Also, you will probably need someone else to make one of the two reservations because the system will not allow one person/account to have two reservations at the same time (or near the same time).

I did all of them online. I made the Blue Bayou one online and called to see if there were any other times available and that's when she told me I was lucky to get the one I did since they only do 2 day.

I wouldn't make separate reservations unless you are ok not sitting together. And be aware that even at some of the smaller restuarants, they may tell you that they'll put you at tables side by side (even though not small, BTRBBQ will do this).
