My parents are taking our extended family to WDW the week between Christmas and New Year's. My nuclear family consists of DH, DD10, DS7 and DS4. I understand this is the king of all crowded weeks. I would like some strategic advice one how to keep the magic alive while waiting in lines and dealing with crowds. We are staying at All Start Sports, have the dining plan, and I have made ADRs for every night.

Any experiences you can share would be great!

I don't have Christmas week experience, but this is what I would recommend.

1) Get to your park of choice first thing in the morning...before opening!
2) Ride rides until it gets too crowded then return to resort to rest.
3) Spend evening in park to see nighttime shows.
4) Avoid parks with EMH especially evening ones since you are up so early.
5) Take break days where you don't have to get up early especially after a late night.
6) Take opportunities to check out all the resorts and their christmas decorations.
7) Have fun and assume the parks will be wall-to-wall people.
8) Don't waste time seeing characters and checking out decorations early each day. This is the only time you'll get any rides in without super long lines. Save the people-watching, character greetings, shopping, eating, bathroom breaks, or anything other than rides for the crowded times....anytime after 11am or probably sooner.
9) Last but not least: Use and understand Fastpass!
