Christmas Week - Park Closure Notification

We are staying at the Swan 12/26-12/30. The only day we plan on leaving a park is 12/29, and that will be to walk back to the Swan from Hollywood Studios. I've read about the Park Closure phases and I "think" I am fairly safe. Staying at the Swan, re-entering a park, multi-day ticket and I have an ADR that evening.
But, I am curious, will I receive a notification on the MDE app if the park reaches a Phase 1 closure?
My thought process being, if it reaches Phase 1, we would just hurry back to the park before it reaches another closure level.

In my experience, the notifications they send are more ominous than reality. Meaning, they don’t send “phased closure” detail, it’s just a generic “MK is not accepting new guests” notice (which is an oversimplification of the situation and not 100% accurate).

For example, this was the warning in the app on 12/31/17 at 11:30AM last year:



Although given your combination of tickets/plans, it sounds like you ‘likely’ don’t have much to worry about from a practical matter.

DHS has never had a stage 4 closure. The last one at any park was nearly a decade ago. Even when they dis happen, the parks were back open by mid afternoon.

You should be fine like other have said there have not been a leave 4 closer in a long time but just keep an eye on your phone they will not tell you what level closet just generic MK is normily first so if you see it getting busy you might want to head back to HS

I was there new years last year. It will be very crowded do not think you will do what you have done in the prevuse visits you might not even do half, but i can tell you I had one of the best times at Disney New Years Eve if I could afford it money wise I would in a second.
