So I am officially given up on going to WDW this year, we last went September 2020, then today the in-laws drop a potential Disney Christmas bomb. We went New Years 2020 and found it to be less crowded than Presidents week in February. I had dreaded the potential craziness of NYE week, but wasn’t that bad.

Those with experience, which is “less crowded” the week of Christmas, so the 18-23 or the week after 26-31?

From the 26th until New Years is so crowded that you can barely move. 25th doesn't seem as bad but still busy. After New Years slows way down. Apparently the week before Christmas is also busy but I would think less so since they never get to park closures the week before Christmas but they often do the week between Christmas and New Years

I haven't been xmas week, but the week after until just after NYE is crazy busy. Worse than Thanksgiving and Spring Break. New Years day was good until later in the day though.

We went December 19-25 in 2019. I didn’t find the crowds that bad, even on Christmas Day at Epcot. From everything I hear, it is after Christmas that things really start to get bonkers.
