Christmas Week Discounts

Has anyone had luck getting any hotel discounts for Christmas week? Our son is doing the college program this fall and we are considering going down over Christmas for a few days. Thank you!

Highly unlikely. It is the busiest week of the year and room rates are raised for the period.

Last Christmas Disney was offering discounted rooms up to either 12/21 or /22 if memory serves me correctly.

Based on previous discounts, you MAY get free dining until 12/22 or 12/23. If so and you planned on doing the dining plan, it'd be worth it in some cases to stay the extra few days or go from 12/22-on and take advantage of free dining.

Otherwise, no, Disney does not offer any discounts during Christmas week (12/24-1/1) and it's very expensive.

We are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter for 1330 From December 23-29. On Disney's site it runs 2085 so 37-38% I believe

I’ve been able to get discounts through 12/24 the past few years. Last year we were there 1/2-1/7 and the only discounts I found were the last few nights, but I added them in one at a time as our plans changed. I was able to change our room type down to standard by watching like a hawk!
