Hi Everyone!

DH and I are planning a short Christmas trip, going to Disney 2 days Dec 27/28.

I know it will be insanely crowded and we are prepared for this. Our main goal is to enjoy the decorations and ambiance and everything else is a bonus!

I do have one question - do we think it is possible to see the CAndlelight procession at 5pm in EPCOT, and then get to HS in time to view the Osborne Lights? I am thinking it is enough time, however I don't want to not take into account the crowds and how long it will take to get from EP to HS.

Our priority would be Osborne Lights, but I was considering booking the dining package for the Candlelight procession for Biergarten lunch.

thanks!!

You can easily fit in both. It will be take you between 20-30 minutes to walk to DHS from Epcot's International Gateway after the 5:00 CP. Or, you can take the Friendship Boat from IG.

The Lights will stay lit for at least an hour after park closing so that gives you plenty of time to view all the Lights.

DHS is open until 8pm on Dec 19, so you'll want to do the 5pm Candlelight....it will end a little after 6pm, might take you 30 minutes to leave through the crowds exiting and those waiting for the next CLP, take the boat or walk to DHS and back to Streets of America. The would give you well over an hour to view Osborne (and like hiroMYhero said, the lights typically stay on after park close as people are leaving).

I would personally not do both in one evening IF there was a chance to them on separate evenings.....sensory overload. But it is doable if you only have one evening available....and I think I would risk the overload to see both rather than to miss one or the other.

Is anyone expecting HS to hit capacity since it is the last year for the lights!

If you mean level 4 capacity where they don't let anyone one, I would highly doubt it. I would even be surprised if it hit level 1.

Glad to hear that. First time taking my mom and she needs to see this!
