Christmas Waitlist - 2 bd villa OKW or AKL

I currently have 2 studios reserved at SSR (home resort). December 27 - January 1. I am currently waitlisted on AKL but have been seriously considering OKW.

I like the layout better in OKW, especially the 2 full beds in second bedroom but only 2 bathrooms. AKL has 3 bathrooms but 1 full and 1 sofa bedroom in 2nd bedroom.

Since I am waitlisted for either which do I have a better chance of getting into.

I'm going to say your chances with either are about the same except that it would depend on which classification you waitlisted for at AKV. If you waitlisted for standard view, your chances are less.

I have another request from my daughter. When we went in March we were at SSR. We purchased the refillable mugs and were able to get sweetened tea. In May we stayed at BWV and while able to get refills (kinda) there was no sweet tea available anywhere. What and where are the refillable stations like at AKL and OKW - and is Sweet Tea available?

At AKV, you have choose between Jambo House and Kidani Village as these are both booking categories.

The 2-bedrooms in Jambo House are all lock-offs and only have 2 baths. Those in Kidani Village can be either a dedicated or lock-off and will have 3 baths.

Kidani Village does not have quick service dining, but there is a refill station in the lobby gift shop.

Jambo House does have quick service dining (The Mara) which is where the refill station is located.
