Cast Members: Amanda (25) – loves Disney – Loves Canadians!
Brian (26) – loves Disney – Epcot is his favorite park
Susan (30-ish) – Disney Fanatic – Still walking fast
Eric (30-ish) – loves Disney – Still walking behind his wife.

We managed to sleep till 8a.m. – called the neighbors who were up and at Epcot already (it opened early). We get moving and are at Epcot by 9:30a.m. We skipped Spaceship Earth because it had a line and figured we come back later. We headed to Test Track and got Fast Passes and then went over to Mission Space. Astronaut Goofy and Mickey were there so we took some pictures. Then Eric, Brian, and I went for a ride on a space shuttle. I liked this ride so much better the 2nd time because I no longer had to worry about if I was going to get sick or not. After that we hit Test Track. And then Brian and I took our first ride on Figment – I can see why kids like it, I’m not a fan.

It is about 11a.m. now so we walked over to the World Showcase for some grub. We split Nachos in Mexico and DH and I got a Margarita – Hey it is 5 o’clock somewhere according to Jimmy Buffet!

After that we nibbled and drank our way around the world. Got glasses of wine twice in Italy and once in France. Eric and Susan had never been to the WS when it wasn’t during the Food and Wine Festival so they had never been in the shops. We had to educate them. Brian and I love the Chinese and Japanese pavilions and spend a lot of time there. While in Japan we showed Eric and Susan the Pearl counter and they decided to get a pearl. It was fun watching them and they loved it! We watched the Fife and Drum band in America saw the Italian Santa Claus and the Monkey King in China. He was cute! We also rode Maelstroms for the first time (for DH and I). At 4:10 we had a PS for Le Celliers which was for our Candlelight Processional package. So we checked in at Le Cellier’s this is one of our favorite restaurants. And the reason we are on this trip! I had suggested to Eric and Susan along time ago that they try Le Cellier’s well when she went to book the original PS they couldn’t get it because they were only 2 people. Strange reason. So the night we went out to dinner she complained to us about this…..next thing we know……..ANYWAY food as always was spectacular and we had the cutest waiter! He was from London, Ontario and I happen to have a friend from their, whom I never met. We’ve only talked via email, so I asked for his picture so I could say – look a local!  After this we walked through the Rose and Crown and saw The British Invasion. We watched the Tree Lighting. The neighbors went in search of pins – Brian and I watched the Canadian band Off Kilter. We decide to line up for the Processional.

I am so glad that we did this. It was so impressive and everything was just amazing. Marilee Matlin was our narrator and she did a fabulous job. I love watching people do American Sign Language so it was especially entertaining to me.

After the processional I asked if we could please stay for Illuminations since we missed it back in February. Again – it was an amazing show and for the holidays they do a special ending. They play “Let there be Peace on Earth” and all the countries say it in their native tongue and then there is a huge explosion of red and green lights and then all white lights. I had chills like you wouldn’t imagine and tears in my eyes – it was just so cool

Your pictures tell it all! The happy glowing smiles on your faces (well, MOST of the time :p ) show that you were having a great time!

I see you managed to find the margarita stand in Mexico! Another must-do for DH and I! :p

Le Cellier - yum!!! We eat dinner here practically every trip! We love their filet. I fell in love with a wine from their wine list and can get it at home for $13 a bottle - a Ravenswood vintner's blend red zinfandel. Always brings back wonderful memories for me!

I have yet to see the Candlelight Processional - will do that one of these years. The holiday add-on to Illuminations sounds just wonderful!

Your trip sounds perfect so far!!

Sounds like a great day and a great trip. PLUS you hit two more of my favorites, 50's Prime Time and LeCellier...which I'm still trying to work into the Marathon trip!

Now that the holidays are over, will you finish this report?
