WOW, I cannot believe so many of you have your tree's up already. I am so jealous, LOL.
We put up the trees right after Thanksgiving.
I have a TREE in EVERY room and it takes me some time. Some are themed for their location.
The one in the Living Room is all Lenox and Crystal with small twinkling white lights, 6' and soft snow on the boughs. I have collected for 23 years and it is truly a sight to see. It goes up last cause it is Real!
The one in the great room is Woodsy: wood animals and pine cones and berries, white lights as well. 6'.
The one in the Dining Room is Butterflies and greenery and snow tipped edges with red berries, white lights 6'.
The one in the kitchen is 4' and sits in the bay window, woodsy as well, very country feel, white lights and berries.
The one in my office is all Fairies and Berries and greenery and snow, LOVE LOVE LOVE it! (tjmaxx sells beautiful fairy ornaments @ 3.99 and 4.99 and they are so whimsical in case you're looking for some. 5' tree.
DS Game room has his original Christmas Tree from Grammy and Papa (since passed) and is so very special. He gets an ornament from me each year and has many from relatives as well. Brings back many memories, has M&M lights, only 3' tall and so overloaded that we place the ornament overflow on the table it is displayed on

I remember him standing next to his "big" tree, now so "small!"
Upstairs Foyer has a 5' tree that has family ornaments and white lights as well as snow.
After all the trees are up I then begin my Dickens Village Display. Anyone else do that??
It takes me Hours and Hours to get it all set up, lights and walkways, trees and houses with the people but I LOVE it and just stare at it each night "thinking" about the time period.....
Then the rest of the house is "dressed" top to bottom and then the exciting wait
till our annual Holiday Cocktail Party for ALL our family (about 30) followed by our countdown to our Christmas Eve Celebration begins...when my side comes to spend it with us...OH the fun and laughter (this year just 14 as my sister will be away, our first time apart

, though she'll be with a really special friend, in Hawaii with his family, so I can't feel too bad about it......
The following day its off to DH side for another day of celebration, after the three of us exchange our gifts and TRY to relax a bit.
Then my DS BIRTHDAY a few days later....Another celebration, though it is much quieter....
(By the way we have two other birthdays just BEFORE Christmas in our family as well,

, mine and my other sisters.
The HOLIDAYS, WooHoo, just can't wait.
What fun this was thinking about the HOLIDAY SEASON!
Wishing EVERYONE a BLESSED HOLIDAY SEASON!!!
