Christmas Tree Shops in NE mark down

I am sure that most of us Christmas Tree Shop addicts know that all Halloween (except candy) has been marked down 50% since as far as I know last Saturday. I was just wondering if anyone has been there recently and if they have gone to 90% yet? I like to buy things for my class and that is the time I do it.

If I recall correctly from last year... our CT store didn't go 90% till the day after Halloween. I got some great things for the raffles at my kids school fot like 10cents each & just put them in the back of my closet till this year.

I think every store does it differently. A couple years ago I went to the one near me a week before Christmas and they already had their Christmas stuff marked down by 75%. When I asked about it being marked down, I was told that the sales associates didn't even know it was being marked down until they'd arrived that day. Then I was at another store and they hadn't marked theirs down yet.

You know that is a good question and why none of us have not thought about it before is beyond me!

However, in the past what one store does they all do it would be interesting to find out if any other stores went to 50% last week. I can tell you I will not be the one to find out since I have been "banned" form there for a while. Yeah right!

I've thought of it. They have a website, but it doesn't tell you much. It gives you store locations, job openings and you can view the regular sale flyer. But that's about it.
