For a bit more, Target also had a small (about 18 inch) DIS green tree in the Christmas section. It was $12.99, but had lights already attached. Very cute and it might be a nice alternative to the $180 Disney version.

That reminds me.. for $19.99 they have a pre packaged Tinkerbell tree . It's a limey green tinsel tree with lights and ornament balls with Tinkerbell on them.

Same price for a Princess tree.. pink tinsle tree with different princesses on each ball.

These weigh a bit more than the simple $2.50 ones but it's nice to have if you have girls in the family.
I love Tink but my boys wouldn't appreciate a "girly" tree

I wish they had a Mickey themed tree.. wouldn't that be cute with gold, red, white and black balls, a pretty star on top and Mickey on an ornament or tree skirt?

funnygarcia, I was just in target today and saw those cute little trees! I am so glad you found them and I loved how they packaged the little ball ornaments in the tube. I think they will be perfect for your trip! It will be nice to have the tree, put it in the window of your hotel room and when you walk back at night, you will all be able to see it! (But bring extra batteries-lol)

I missed the tink tree though, boo hoo! I fell in love with the singing stockings, they had Tigger and Mickey ones and the mouth moved when they sang. I thought they were adorable but I had to restrain myself and pass them by since we leave this Thursday and come home right after Thanksgiving on Sat. I don't think we really need the tree and stockings that early-lol.

I did get my own tree and all of our Christmas decorations up though just so we won't come home to a "bare" house after seeing all the great DL decorations. Last year, it was so sad to come home and nothing was decorated and since we usually do it the weekend after Thanksgiving, I felt behind trying to rush and cram it all in. Have the kids packed too and am working on packing myself-lol.

Thanks for the heads up! We are bringing 6 girls and have 2 rooms to decorate, so I will go check those out. We opted not to order the DLR tree. As for stockings, I ordered Disney stockings from target.com w/ free shipping: 2 Tinks, 2 Ariels & 2 Princesses, and will bring those on our trip. Haven't decided whether to fill them once or leave a little something each day. The planning never ends!

We were at Home Depot eariler today and they also have the princess trees talked about above, (19.99) and they had a green tree that is pooh and friends, right next to the princesses. It is also 19.99 It was really cute, a pooh on top and pooh and friends ornaments.

I kept going back and forth about it and yesterday I did pick up some lights just in case but dd is a serious pooh lover and would love to have this tree even at home!! THANKS again, going to run out and get it! Did you happen to notice if it had lights or not?

I think it had lights, but didn't look that closely. It was basically the same as the princess tree and it has lights, so I assume Pooh does also. It was really cute....

Well, Abby, thanks again, I just ran down and got it! It is pretty little for $19.99 and doesn't have lights but my dd will love it. Really the target ones at the dollar section were a better deal but I might just pop over there and get some of the balls as extras since the pooh tree only has 6 balls but they are cute balls-lol. I grabbed those extra lights already so I guess it was just meant to be and now we will be having a tree at DLH too even though it is too early-lol. I was so tempted to go ahead and get the cute disney paper too to wrap all the tink toys and then decided with just 4 days left, too much work! Thanks again for posting.

What about this one from Disney Shopping? It combines tree, fiber optic lights, ornments and Mickey all together for a reasonable price. You could either have it shipped to the resort or bring it with you. It is only two feet tall and perfect for table-top.

If you buy the battery lights at Target for $2.50, they are nice and bright. I just finished semi decorating my tree and slipped it in a plastic bag in the suitcase! Warning though, the lights needed a tiny screwdriver to open for the batteries. I just left the screws off so I can replace them easily when we are at DL! Ohhh, it looks so cute and I bought tinkerbell wrapping paper too and just finished wrapping all the tinkerbell toys. Now she can leave them under the tree each night like a little mini preChristmas!

I thought is was cute and a real deal when I ordered it. I got it for about $19.00 dollars. I had it shipped to The Polynesian for our arrival. It will make the room perfect. We arrive in 12 days. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone
