Taking a huge family trip for Christmas this year and my sons first trip to Disney World!

Any must take photos you guys do at Christmas time! I think Hollywood studios and Magic Kingdom are the most Christmasy at night!

Also what do you guys do around the parks to get that holiday feeling I want to go all out this year!

There will be plenty of trees and decor around the parks to take photos with! (and photopass photographers!) Some of my favorite photos have been taken at the resorts. Especially Grand Floridian and Boardwalk are very Christmasy imo!

At each park there is a Christmas tree. Also each resort has their own decorations. At Disney Springs there is a lot of smaller Christmas trees with different themes (Bambi, Snow White, Mulan, etc) We just love all the different Christmas decorations. In Epcot, each country has their own 'story tellers' which tell their home traditions. It's really easy to get into the Holiday spirit. Enjoy

As others said, pretty much everywhere. We're going at Thanksgiving time and have at least as much time planned to visit resorts as be in the parks. Every resort decorates differently per their theme but I'd say Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge are highest on our list, followed by Poly and Boardwalk resorts.

Our "must do" photos are the red sleigh near the Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom (our family of 3 gets in the sleigh), our daughter next to the "X days until Christmas" sign on Main Street near guest services and where you can meet Santa, and our daughter next to the snowman who's outside of "It's a Wonderful Shop" at DHS. The snowman photos in particular are so precious to us -- we have her from age 23 months all the way to 18 -- and it's incredible to "watch" her grow over the years by looking back at those photos.

I clearly don’t know all there is to do at Christmas. Where is the snowman?

The snowman is a statue in DHS that's right outside of "It's a Wonderful Shop." It's next to Mama Melrose's and across from that shop that has the Muppets Merch and the general Disney stuff. It's kind of hidden back there in that little alleyway, and we discovered it on our honeymoon almost 28 years ago after we ate at Mama Melrose's. It's been a family favorite ever since! :)

ETA: My apologies if I made it seem as though the snowman was a character meet-and-greet. He's only a statue, but he's adorable and holds so many wonderful memories for us! :lovestruc

Thank you!

I've mentioned this elsewhere, but this is a fun Christmas our family does while at Disney.

Each family member gets $25 x the number of family members (in our case there were 4 of us, so $100 each). The goal is each family member has to buy they other family members Christmas gifts at Disney World for $25 or less each person. Our last time there we arrived on the 22nd, so we had a few days to shop, though we all did our shopping last minute on the 24th!

We didn't wrap them, we instead tied them up in the famous blue Disney shopping bags, and then left them under the little tree we brought with us. Christmas morning there were lots of blue bags under and around the tree, and it was a lot of fun to see what everyone found for everyone else! And of course, my wife and I snuck our favorite Disney stockings in as well, and filled them with goodies and hung them on the coat rack in the room!

The other thing we absolutely do every time is take a trip around the deluxe resorts to view all of the spectacular decorations!
