Christmas to New Years peeps...

I've been scheduling more Special Events then I normally do when we travel during other times of the year. From what I've been reading from folks who have traveled during this very busy week, some of the events are worth the respite from the crazy crowds. Anyone else exploring Special Events? Dessert Parties, NY Eve parties, tours, etc...?

We've done the NYE dessert party at MK every time we've done NYE. Worth every penny.

(And I'm not a huge upcharge person.)

We are doing that on December 30th!

We have the dessert party scheduled on Christmas day at MK. We did it before on the 4th of July and it was well worth it just to get away from the crowds. I don't think the dessert parties are necessarily "worth it" for our usual summer visits but on days when the parks typically go through some sort of phased closure, I will gladly pay the extra money to avoid staking out a spot hours in advance and getting trampled as everyone rushes to the exits afterwards!
