Im looking into the possibility of going to disneyland paris 27th December for 3nights. I know it will be very busy, but how busy?

Can anyone who's been around this time give me details, ie que times for rides, restaurants, what did you manage to do etc.

Also, what are transports to the non disney hotels (holiday inn, explorers etc) like at this time of year?

We were there last yr from 27th to 29th and it was heaving. You couldnt move in some areas of the park. I cant remember much about waiting times to be honest but we did EMH and used FP.
We also booked the restaurants before we went and ate at lunchtime to give us a break from the crowds.
The park was open til late (10.00?)

No idea about shuttle buses as we stayed at DCR so had the car but Im assuming they would be as normal.

I did a trippie about the trip so it might be worth looking at that to give you an idea - also Annette (Kevankiki) was there the same time and she did a trippie as well

We stayed 23rd - 28th December in 2005. The park started getting busy on Boxing Day, it was even busier on 27th and by 28th it was absolutely heaving. We had a fantastic time ~ as long as you are prepared for it to be busy so will you. :santa: I think BTM queue time was over 2 hours at one point on our last day :scared1: so use fastpass and go with the attitiude that you are there to see the Christmas theming/decorations/parades/shows rather than the rides.

We stayed at the Explorers and found the buses in the evening weren't too bad although it did depend on what time you go back. They were a bit manic immediately after park closing (it was 8pm every night then) as lots of parents with younger children will go straight back to their hotels but if you decide to spend some time in the Village having a meal or doing some shopping then you will miss this rush. There certainly wasn't the manic scrum for the offf-site buses that you get in the summer months after the park kicks out at midnight! :rotfl:

I would definitely recommend booking your meals at this time of the year and if you want to eat at restaurants that can't be booked ie. Annette's, Rainforest, then eat earlier on in the day when they are far less busy.
