I went to Disney the first week of December of 2004 to celebrate my son's 3rd birthday. I must say it is one of the best times to go and not much crowds. Although, it was a bit chilly for Disney. Needed pants and a jacket. The best part is all the decorations are up and they have MVMCP. I would definitley recommend going! We stayed at the ASMovies, but we traveled to other disney resorts just to see the decorations. It is absolutely beautiful. We are going in December of 2007 to celebrate my son's 6th birthday. Since his favorite resort is ASMovies we most likely will stay there again. He enjoyed the characters dressed up for Christmas and the "snow" falling on main street. Anytime at disney is truly magical, but you can only experience christmas at disney once a year. Best wishes!
This December will be our 8th trip to Disney during the Christmas season. We always go during the first two weeks of December. The Christmas season at WDW is really a special time to visit. Some of the things you mat want to do our MVMCP at the MK, Osborne Lights in MGM and the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. If you do MVMCP, I would suggest dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern before the party around 5:00 or 5:30. We always love watching the CP in Epcot, it is a wonderful way to get in the Christmas spirit. They have dinner packages that will allow you to get prefered seating for the show. We do this every year. If you get a chance go to some of the other resorts and see there decorations. The Grand Floridian resort has there giant Ginger Bread house set up every year. The Beach Club has a life size carousel made out of chocolate. PM if you have any other questions that I can help you with.
