I really should stop being afraid to try new things instead of my safe usual things but...

At Christmas time there is a peppermint chocolate cupcake with candy cane sprinkles which people rave about. Can anybody tell me what they thought of it, and what its like ? Is it super sweet? Does it have some type of fudge inside?

Also, has anybody had the cobbler at Artist Point? The raspberry ice cream on top of berry cobbler seems like it would be too sweet and not mesh well with the berries underneath but it gets such good reviews.

The cobbler is sweet but not as tooth-achingly sugary as it may look, primarily because the berries they use have some acidity to them. The ice cream, likewise, isn't gratingly sweet, either. Overall, it's quite a nice option for dessert with the cobbler portion having a nice bite to it; however, as a long time fan of the cobbler, what they put out there now is only reminiscent of the once superb berry cobbler from several years ago. Now? Good. Then? Top shelf.

Peppermint cupcake was fantastic, no fudge inside just light cake. It was from Starbucks/Main Street bakery during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

The cobbler is delicious! Perfect on sweetness , definitely not too sweet. Is my yearly repeat dessert at AP.
