We are annual pass holders and are taking a last min trip to Orlando this weekend. We arrive Friday around 5 and leave Sunday around 5. Friday night is our only night to see fireworks/parade and it is the Christmas party as well as emh at HS so both those are out. I am 36 weeks pregnant and have a two year old so we don't plan on doing a ton but we haven't ever been at Christmas time so we are trying to see as much Christmas as possible.

Right now we are planning to arrive first at MK to see them light the castle at 6:30 and then hop to either Epcot or Disney springs for the night time show.

We will have all day Sat and most of sunday that I am having trouble coming up with what to do. I do want to see the GF all decorated as well as a few others. Any suggestions on meals?

Can you do the MK lighting on Saturday instead or do you already have plans for Saturday evening? I just think going into MK for just that and then leaving is a little stressful.

My choice would be EP on Fri night for Illuminations and the Christmas tag at the end. You could also stop behind the theater and catch a bit of the Candlelight Processional from the walkway. The Holiday storytellers are lots of fun too. Norway is our favorite and would probably keep your 2 yr old entertained.

Sat at MK will be crowded, but that will be true of Sunday too and you can't miss MK. Enjoy what you can, then take a resort ride on the monorail during nap time and stop to see GF all decorated. Maybe do a meal at the GF Cafe or time it for an early dinner at 1900 Park Fare. Getting an off-time ADR at GF Cafe will be easier.

Yes Saturday night we are headed to a football game and that is the reason we will be in orlando, Disney is just a side bonus. I agree going to MK and then somewhere else Friday night is a bit much, but I don't know any other way to be able to see the castle lit up. Thanks for the tips!
