I'm after some advice about pretty much everything to do with our wedding!
I always wanted a winter/Christmas wedding as that is my favourite time of year and really brings out the child in me as does my love of Disney.
We're booked in for a late November wedding but it's at Sunset Point, which my Mr. loves due to it being outdoors. However, I fail to see how I can make this location Christmassy. If I'd been able to have the evening wedding I originally planned it may have worked as the castle lights may have been on, or we could have had candles etc. Unfortunately, Disney don't like people getting married late in the day at Sunset Point for health and safety reasons, which is fair enough, thus it's an afternoon wedding. Basically, how can I make this Christmassy?
Or do you feel another location such as WP would be better? We're eating at V&A's later in the evening, and our cake topper is a Christmas ornament of Mickey and Minnie in Victorian dress. So the WP should in theory work and I understand we can have that in the evening, subject to availability.
The reason we didn't book WP in the first place was because the wedding is just going to be us two as our families can't make it for various reasons. Thus we felt SP was more intimate and it was less obvious we had no guests, if that makes sense at all, plus WP is $1,000 more by my understanding.
Has anyone else done a Chritmassy themed wedding? What did you do? Any advice would be most welcome!
Thank you in advance!
