Christmas Taping and Photopass

Since this will be the 1st time we will be in the parks while they are taping for the Christmas Day special, I'm wondering how much this will affect Photopass opportunities, specifically in front of the castle? We wanted to get pics in front of the castle with our medals from the Wine and Dine races, but I'm wondering if we need to forego this and go to MK on a different day. Any insight?
