11. Snow! Love it, or dread it? I'm from Indiana, and I think snow is overrated. I love the fact that it can be anywhere between 50-70 degrees on Christmas Day in Florida.

Honestly, I have no idea when I started figuring out that the santas around town weren't real. But I've continued believing that the spirit does exist.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? Very full of ornaments. Mainly glass bulbs my mom decorated, sequin bulbs we decorated together, old ornaments that were handed down from my grandparent, and teddy bears. We also have gold garland, colored lights (not blinking), tiny books, angels and lace bows. Also, never forget the Christmas mouse and the topper with the Angel holding a Star.

12. Can you ice skate? Yes! Used to compete quite heavily in Figure Skating and coaches as wll....until my ankle was totally destroyed in a car accident!

7. Favorite holiday memory? Last year was bittersweet, but memorable.DH wasn't here (in Iraq), but we had a local extended family 'adopt' us. The real Santa came to our house the night of the 22nd, and sat with the kids, talked with them, gave them each a personalized ornament, and then his elves brought in about 20 gifts and boxes and boxes of stuff from Costco. I'll never forget the looks on my kids' faces having Santa in our living room!
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa Claus? I probably figured it out around 8 or so. Why were those gifts in mom's closet the same as the one's from Santa under the tree?
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Yes, the kids can pick out one gift to open.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? A lot of Disney ornaments, patriotic ornaments, and then a mish mash of other ones.
11. Snow! It's fun for about a day, which is about as long as it lasts when it does snow here in Portland.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa Claus? I don't remember when I learned the truth. I didn't believe for very long though, by Kindergarten or 1st grade I knew the truth.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? We haven't in the past, but will this year. The boys get lots of presents from extended family and they all run together, so this year my parents will give them their gifts on Chrismas Eve to spread out the wrapping paper chaos.
