Christmas Suprise

Alright, here's the deal and I need some help from the experts.

Myself and 2 friends are all giving our GFs or wives (as the case may be) a trip to WDW next summer (7 nights at POFQ 3 rooms one per couple). None of the girls have figured us out yet, which is a miracle. Now I just need a creative way to suprise her christmas morning. I thought about a calendar with the trip already written in, but am a little scared that she might initially just look at the calendar then look at me like I farted.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

How about a travel cosmetics case filled with travel sized shampoo, etc., along with the calendar?

I would definitely 'mark' the calendar--maybe with post-it notes or even paint chips from Home Depot.

On the outside of the calendar, write something like "Look inside"

On each month do something like: "Nope, not yet." "Getting warmer." or even "Where will YOU celebrate?"

I know there are better ideas out there, though. Hopefully, you will get some good advice!

I didn't think they were doing this again but I found out today that WDW is again offering the Mickey Holiday Call. I just booked it to surprise my 2 little ones for their 1st trip.

Not sure where you are, but I also got their "Ears" already at the Disney Store in NYC (reg Disney stores don't have them) and they will be under the tree along with the planning DVD just so they can see a little bit.

I'll look into the holiday call sounds like a great idea. And I also like the idea of writting in the calendar. Now I've just got to time the call right after we exchange gifts.

I rethought this and I'm going with the old scavenger hunt standby. I ve got 5 envelopes I'll hide around the house. The first I'll give to her for christmas. Then I've written rhyming clues to lead her to the next one. Each letter will reveal more about the trip.

1 - her card
2 - what her present is (a trip)
3 - when we leave (june)
4 - who is going (3 couples)
5 - where we're going (disney!)

pretty origional if I do say so myself. and the letters are really funny. I would share them but They would need a little editting.
