Today is Veterans Day.

My DH is a veteran of war.

I got my stocking exchange today from 1disney25 ~~ but there was no stocking!

I did receive:
a pair of cute mickey socks
a pack of pencils
a bag of potpourri
a 2x3 frame with a snowflake
a metal star
a snowman and an ornament notepad
a box of lemon/lime tea
a mickey soap and lotion
some chocolate kisses (a few had melted onto the star )
and 3 taper candles that sadly were broken

When I saw the 'sheer mesh stocking' in a catalog I thought they were so cute, but i guess they didn't really come as worthy stockings
And sorry about the melted chocolate, another strike for Florida! But glad you liked everything else!

I haven't recieved mine yet either but I guess it will take longer if coming from over seas. I posted mine to Canada air mail last Saturday so they should have arrived today. I hope so and that all the items were OK.

You were right, I received my stocking today

It was a red/white stocking and inside was:
Eeyore ornament
honeydew melon votive
Maxfield's chocolate sampler (I love chocolate)
2 red and green knit bags, one has a snowman on it and one has Santa
inside one was a do it yourself snowglobe (I will put my 2 DGD's picture in it) and the other one had body butter.
Wrapped separately was Winnie the Pooh and Piglet salt & pepper shakers. They will go on my shelf and not on the table

Your little ones is coming, I sure hope she enjoys! I love shoppping for kids as we don't have any ourself, DFiance' got her name, hope she likes the gifts.

My other exchange went to W.V, it was sooo hard to shop for you..lol! Hint: I hope you get more from the stocking than whats inside, something everyone should do at the holidays... relax and spend time with people you love (these things in the stocking should help). Yours should be coming soon as well, both were sent out priority mail.
