The MIA exchange has been reported, so just two more that needs to be sent out, and I was told that they will be going express mail.

According to USPS.com, the stocking I sent was delivered yesterday afternoon. I hope the receiver enjoys it. I wish I could have sent more - especially in line with their "likes", but it was tough to find stuff that fit when I was out shopping. So I took another route and thought back to when we were kids and some of the stuff we used to get, hoping to make it more of a return to childhood stocking.

As for deliveries to my house - nothing yet.

It;s a little bear shapped disk that you soak in water and place in the container with your brown sugar so it stays nice and soft

I received a great stocking from Cindy (clhpaca) today! Aside from the stocking, I got:

and a small mystery. I either got three white bath fizzies or three white balls of soap. Haven't opened them up in case they are bath fizzies. Either way, I appreciate them!

Thanks so much Cindy. It made my day! The only bummer is, now I don't have any mail to look forward to.

Tara received her stocking today. She was very excited to find a key in the mailbox meaning there was a package in the bigger mailbox (we have community boxes, not at our house), and I purposely didn't stop for the mail on my way to pick her up from school!!!

Her stocking was from Cindy (clhepaca) and Tara loved it all -

Hershey flavored chapstick
Barbie type doll and horse w/Riding School stuff (helmet, boots trophies, etc)
Pooh to hang on her backpack
Pooh mini playing cards
Minature Nutcracker
Glo Stick (we love those......)

I hope I got it all - she was tearing through the package!

PS the puppy loved the packing peanuts!

I'm glad that your daughter enjoyed the stocking and its contents. I had to use my imagination to find a box to properly package it as I wanted all the contents in the stocking. My cat also loves those packing peanuts.

Kelleigh1 we did receive it so the USPS is correct for once! My DH didn't arrive home until late last night so he has not opened it yet. Don't know how he can wait to open a package.He wanted to do it with the kids around to watch when he opened it. Hopefully tonight and I will post ASAP. I know his likes are strange so I am very interedest in what is in the package......

We are still waiting on three more packages to be delivered to our house but it sounds like everything is in the mail so this should be a fun week of arrivials.

On a side Christmas note just though I would share I am currently on the set of Disney's The Santa Clause 3. My son is one of the elf's. We startred shooting on Friday. Mrs. Clause is having a baby! and Jack Frost is trying to take over for Santa. Tim Allen and the cast is back and it should be fun - though exausting and tiring long days.

Glad to know it arrived. Sounds like you guys are having lots of fun right now. I didn't even know they were filming that movie. How exciting!! I haven't seen the 2nd one yet, but love the first one. My niece was so cute when it came out. The first time we watched Home Improvement after seeing the movie, she said "It's Santa Claus!!" She was so excited. She was only 2 at the time. Of course now she's 12 and probably doesn't think it's so cute, but we did.

I hope he likes it. I love the stocking but bought it knowing I'd have to send it off. I found a Starbucks coupon after I mailed it and I kept thinking "why didn't I stick that in there too?" Of course after I'd boxed it all up, I saw a bunch of other things I could have bought and found some stuff that I forgot to put in. (I'd bought a bunch of little things over the past couple of months intentionally for the "extas" in these exchanges and totally forgot to put them in the package.) Isn't that always the way?
