Christmas shopping at WDW

I will be in WDW from 12/12-12/19. Do they run sales or any sort of special on Christmas stuff...or anything?

Are the ornaments on sale? Does anyone know any prices? We would like to get personalized ornaments.

We were there last year from 12/18-12/23. They had almost all of their Christmas stuff on sale with different percentages off. I am thinking a lot of it was 1/2 off. We are going again this year same time, so I am hoping for the same kinds of deals.

We were there December 22-28 last year, and almost all Christmas decor was 50% off. Boy did I have fun unpacking the Christmas ornament boxes this year!

we were there 6 years ago and they had 3 bulbs together to look like Mickey's head. Do they still have those? Anyone know a price?

Hallmark stores sell Disney ornaments for probably half the price.

It struck me funny. Christmas shopping at WDW and "Budget boards" don't really go together.

I have seen everything on this board from zhu zhu pets, american girl dolls...GPS systems. Why wouldn't a question about ornaments being on sale at Disney, not fall under the budget board. In my OP, I said that the mod should/could move it, if it was incorrectly posted.

Come over to the Regal Sun Resort before 4:00 on the 12th for the All Disneyana Show and Sale. Current and vintage Disney merchandise, authors, podcasters, etc. Tight across from the Marketplace in Downtown Disney.

At DTD there is a Disney Christmas Store with tons of ornaments! When we wee there last Dec. I didn't notice anything on sale, but that was also early Dec.

If you want personalized ornaments, def. go at the beginning of your trip. The personalization could take a day or more for them to get done. That way you can pick it up at the store and not have it shipped home.

I got the 2008 medallion ornament last year, and it was $10 or less I think. Also got the ball ornament and that wasn't expensive either. That is less expensive than many of the Hallmark ornaments.

If you're talking about what I think you are, yes they had them last year, and I believe they were $15.95 or $16.95 BEFORE the 50% off, because I have two on my tree this year.
