Christmas shopping anyone?

For once in my life, I'm half way done with my shopping already. Have any of you starting thinking about it yet?

You know, I do need to do ours early this year since we will be going to WDW at the beginning of December. I will wait until after my youngest DD's birthday (in September). I'll have them make their letters to Santa early this year.. after all, our main gift is WDW!!

I start buying early but in our family we have birthdays Jan, Feb, 2 in April and then May and June. Finally I can buy a few but then we have our last birthday in Sept (the oldest and he always wants something $$$, lol). So I get busy after that.

I'm also getting started. I told the kids 3 weeks ago to give me their Christmas list. My 10 yr old son gave me his last week. It is sooooo long...LOL.
My 18 yr old is working on hers right now. My 21 yr old the procrastinator hasn't started.
I hate shopping and can't wait to finish.

Well, I have been buying/looking. We are cutting back this year and I already know what I am going to get.

I am going to get my nephews that BRIO table, WOW is it expensive. I signed up for the store to send me a coupon and I think I will ask a few family members to chip in if they want.

My other nephew who is 13 wants clothes & here in Missouri we are having TAX FREE weekend, yes you heard right. So I am shopping all weekend with coupons and sales for Back to School.

Our family has agreed that we want a piano as a nice family gift. The kids don't really need any thing else and don't want it.
I am figuring out how to swing that.

Other than a nice gift for DH that will be all I am getting this year!

I usually wait until almost the last minute, mainly because I enjoy getting people something they really like and that I can afford. This year, I've come across some really nice things for really good prices. It does feel weird getting it for christmas, but I'm tickled to get it accomplished so early.

I have all the aunts, uncles, cousins, teachers, gift exchange gifts and thing like that bought, I use to buy the kids early when they were younger and wanted toys, but now that they are older, I usually wait until closer to the time to get those gifts. Its a great feeling to have a nice chunk of your shopping done early. It gives me time to enjoy the things I really like to do at the holidays!!

I start in Dec....almost done.
Just DH and the kids.....they don't give me ideas until last minute anyway
DD is moving to Hawaii, so her things will have to be small or $$

Have 2 or my 3 nephews done
have plenty for my own 2 already
have more ordered from LTD catalog I'm waiting for for DH
money will be tight this year so doing it a little bit at a time

I've been doing some planning of gifts, but not buying yet. I have DS's bday in Sept, and WDW in Oct...then I will really get started.

I have to buy for my 2 kids from us, you know who, my grandmother, my parents, DH's parents and DH's grandmother.

Lots of ideas to come up with for 2 little kids that already have EVERYTHING!!!

I officially started this afternoon. Wasn't planning on starting this early, but I seen something and thought why not? Probably won't do much until end of Sept. now. I'll start planning soon as I get the kids back in school. Already told them to start their lists!

I have some things for my boys already (things that were on sale). Other than that, nothing yet. I don't have a large amount of people to shop for though.

No way! I just cleaned up at Kohl's on their clearance items, and it was all for myself!!!

I am half way through also. I usually wait till the last minute to get gifts for my immediate family since I don't know what they would like till December.
