Christmas Resort?

DH just suggested that I go to Disney for New Years for losing all my weight! AWESOME HUBBY!! He can't go due to work so it will be my mom and I.
We usually stay at Wilderness Lodge but that is out of our price range. What Moderate resort would you suggest?

Try the Swan/Dolphin!! You can usually get them for about the price of a moderate, and when the parks are super crowded, you can't beat being able to walk home at night from both the Studios and Epcot.

If that doesn't work out, try Port Orleans French Quarter - it's also pretty convenient during peak times and super peaceful.

You are right. You can't get the dining plan or the ME if you stay at the Swan or Dolphin. But you do get the EMH's.

I can't recommend a moderate resort for you since I have always done deluxe in the past. This year we are doing our first moderate and staying at CSR right after thanksgiving. What I did want to say to you though is congrats on losing your weight. I myself have lost 120 pounds and in May it will be a year of maintaining without a gain. Again, great job and enjoy your time in Disney as you celebrate.
