It breaks my heart to have to do this, but I am calling tomorrow to cancel our Christmas reservations for December 17th-27th for a premium site. :sad1: We own our own business and have been hit hard by this economy and unfortunately a Disney trip is not in the budget this year. Hopefully, we can make it for Christmas 2011.

I hope a fellow fiend can make good use of my cancellation. It's a magical time to be at Disney.

I am so sorry for ya'll, really hate to hear this. This economy has been a rough one this year,,we also work for ourselves and understand how hard it's been,,,maybe it's just me but I figure we are already on the bottom, things can only go up from here.

Heres to a better and new year for you and all.

If you have to cancel, I'd make new ressies for next year to have something to look forward too,:thumbsup2

So sorry to hear you had to cancel!:sad1: Hope 2011 will be a turning point for you and anyone who is struggling in this economy. Prayers.:flower3:

Hey LuckyinGa, Sorry to hear about your situation. We'll miss seeing you there this year. We pray for a better 2011 and a wonderful trip next year. We know how much you enjoy the Fort.

That is such a bummer! I hope things turn around for your business and you get to go next year.

I am looking to pick up a premium for the 24th and 25th. I have the 26 -2 but could only get preffered for the 24-25. If you havent cancelled yet let me know and I will coordinate with you. Thanks.

I am too new to PM you so I will have to use this thread as my only contact ability.

Wild ride, I'm looking for 21st and the 22nd we are there form the 23rd to the 29th, an early arrival would be a wonderful surprise.... :santa::yay:

 I hear you -- this was supposed to be our year to go, too. I've had a lot of work this year...but then it's taking months and months to actually get paid for it. I think it's a great suggestion to make reservations for next year, to have something to look forward to!

Haven't heard anything from the OP, so I guess they already gave them up.

Canceled reservations are not immediately released into the pool of available sites so coordinating your booking with their cancellation doesn't really work. Your best bet is to call daily and just be persistent.

Good luck getting the days you are looking for! :thumbsup2

Hey Joanne, so sorry you guys can't make it this year. Sure gonna miss seeing your disboards sign out in front of your coach. Make your reservations for next year. We'll look forward to seeing you then. I'm sure buisness will pick up for you guys. Take care and talk to ya soon.

Dave

Joanne, sorry to hear you are cancelling. You're not the first this year to do so. Like Frank said, maybe make reservations right away for next Christmas...then you can look forward to that.

yeah, sorry to hear you won't be able to make it. but, we have all been in that boat more times than we like to admit to. it's life you have to go when it is best. hope you make it to the fort soon..

Thank you for the well wishes. I did make our reservations for 2011.
I'm hoping and praying this economy turns around soon and that 2011 is a better year for everyone.
