Christmas Reservations

I am about to acquire points at either BCV or WLV. My question is how hard or easy would it be to get reservations from around the Dec 20 to Dec 26 at your home resort if you plan it 11 months ahead of time. Does a Dec month when points come available create a problem. Since I like to go at this time of year is there a particular month that I should be looking at. Thanks All

I have a December use year, and its not a problem at all. I just made reservations for December 30th - January 5th, with no problem (I didn't even do it at 11 months out--- I thought I was going to be out of luck for NYE, but I was ok).

Use year makes no difference for when you book. It only matters if you are in the habit of cancelling or changing ressies a month or two before your trip. The 11 month window should find you with plenty of availability even at the small resorts as long as you call right at the 11 month home resort booking window.
