So! Whats the plan of attack here? Well , its to go to Disneyland and hunt for the buckets. You see, I just want one. But, their October Cousin seemed elusive and slipped through my grip. There are few things that I really really want. And why ?? do you ask , am I so obsessed with a bunch of plastic melted and formed into the shape of a Rodent cartoon character and filled with popped corn kernels???
Well, I don't know.
Irrelevant if you ask me.
So, my fellow Mouseketeers.... are they there? Do they exist ? Or am I hunting for the DODO BIRD?
I will report back tomorrow , my findings.....:lmao:

Well, my mission is complete! My Mickey Cute as a button Popcorn bucket is on my kitchen table and all the world is fine! There seemed to be tons of them. We arrived at the park at around 5pm , and walked in, lo and behold , right in front of the City hall Main St. Center, at the popcorn stand, were the buckets. They seemed to have loads of them, because I saw them all over the park.

I read on another board that they did indeed show up today, at least at the stand in DCA (by Soarin). This time they come with regular popcorn for $11.00 or caramel corn for $12.50. But that is 3rd hand information since I am not at the parks to confirm.

I just hope they still have some on Saturday when we are there.

My son was so confused when we went to the popcorn stand and I wouldn't buy him popcorn:: since the buckets weren't in. We'll be there this afternoon, I'll head over to DCA and look too.

We got the Jack Skellington xmas one near Haunted Mansion last Friday

I got mine today in DL! They are soooooo cute! They were at a lot of the stands but not all. They sold them in some of the stores and with your receipt you could get them full. I saw a lot of people with them, if not 2!

They will sell out.... We followed a couple walking to the structure tonight with 6 Snowmen in hand!

I don't have to ask, my wife is the same way. For some reason she needs to collect the popcorn buckets, and not just the Rodent shaped ones. We have the World of Colors buckets, one with each color top. We did get the Halloween bucket, and she has been worrying about if we will be able to get the Holiday bucket for over a month now.

I really don't understand it, but we've been married over 20 years, so I have learned not to ask.

sounds like me, I also collect the Tokyo ones too those are harder to get but they are my favorites - better not show her any pictures of those she would go nuts for them!!! LOL

Man I sure hope there are some left when we go next weekend!!! I WANT one!! I wanted a halloween one but didn't go this year in Oct so I HAVE to have that xmas one LOL. That and the mickey demitasse cup. I have the halloween one from a few years ago. Glad we are driving cuz there is a LOT of stuff I want!! ;)

We got ours last night. They are selling them in the Emporium, which means you get a AP discount when you buy them, and they come with a voucher for a free "box" of popcorn which is the smallest size. The popcorn vendor by the hub also had them for sale - same price - but they would come full. The "box only fills them about half way.
Still ---got my bucket so Woo Hoo:dance3:

YMMV on the AP discount though.

We were going to buy one inside at Greetings in DCA, but the CM said popcorn buckets are coded as an outside vending cart item, so they are not eligible for the AP discount. I know, I know, it would only be a buck or two anyway, but still... Grrr!

I was just there Wednesday and Thursday and we got a bucket on both days. I also got the dematisse (sp?) cup which to me was a great deal at $5.95 which inlcuded the desert which was peppermint chocolate pudding. YUM!!! My daughter is going next weekend so I'm hoping she can get a couple more of those cups for us. I didn't see the Jack Skellington ones or I would have gotten one of those too, though at that time I wasn't looking since I already had my popcorn bucket. Oh well, maybe I can have my daughter find that for me and get that too. LOL

if anyone was worried about Disney selling out of the snowmen buckets, no need, apparently they learned from the Mickey ghost buckets, and got TONS of them .:dance3:

Then they should have offered them the first day of the holiday kickoff season..when I was there...:confused3

We went yesterday, this is what I saw: The cart near the Partners statue by the castle had the popcorn buckets with regular popcorn only. The one near Soarin in DCA had both carmel corn and popcorn. The one on Main street, across from the Railroad station had the buckets, but no popcorn (machine problem).

I noticed that this weekend! There seemed to be tons of them everywhere. I only let one kid get it since I was annoyed we didn't get a discount on them :rolleyes1
