Christmas Party Reservations Question

So, I have a question about the Christmas Parties and reservations for things like Savi’s or a restaurant. This is our first time doing a trip when they are having these parties. We are doing the Magic Kingdom party on a Tuesday evening and the next night we will be at DHS for their party. We are not going to the parks early in the day, choosing to go in at the earliest time possible for each party. Will we still have the ability to make a reservation to build a lightsaber or eat during that early period (Sci-Fi?) since we only have party tickets?

You don’t have to have park tickets of any kind in order to book a reservation. You just need valid admission to the park at the time of the reservation. So you should be able to book your desired reservations if those times are available. Enjoy!

believe entrance is 7 pm without actual park admission

if you can work in the reservations after that, should be ok depending on when the lightsaber bookings stop for the day.

Party starts at 7 (if we're talking Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party), but you can get in at 4. If you really want to do these things, recommend doing it as close to 4 as possible, so you can enjoy the party events (and/or get in line early for a character greet) once it officially starts at 7.

Edit: NVM just realized this is a DHS party. Disregard lol!

Edit 2: Looks like the party starts at 8:30 with a 7:00 entry time. So if you can squeeze it in between 7 and 8:30 that could work (assuming reservations available) and still not miss any time for the actual party.

For us, we don't do dining reservations on party event nights. We're paying a premium to enjoy the festive atmosphere, but many people do enjoy dining reservations, that's just our family's preference.

Oh, us too. That is why I want to try and squeeze it in between the early entry time and the party start.
