Hello,

I am visiting in mid-November with my immediate family plus my sisters, parents, and my sisters' children. Altogether we have 8 adults, and 9 kids. All kids are between 4-9 years old, plus I have a 1 year old (we have been busy).

My parents were fortunate to take an annual trip with us when we were kids, my dad became a DVC member very early, and I went to WDW maybe 20 times before I went to college. In later years, we liked to do a day where we toured all the Christmas decorations at the hotels. I know a lot of people do this in some capacity.

Given the kids and the brutality of any transportation with them, wondering if anyone has knowledge of renting a party bus to tour the hotels? It would be good to get a driver, maybe have a beer or two on board and play some Christmas music for the kids. Does Disney allow this? One thing I am also thinking about as I type this is maybe there is a seatbelt requirement for the kids. Has anyone on here ever done this? We are thinking maybe 4-5 hours, and we hit up the Epcot hotels, MK hotels, plus maybe Riviera and Wilderness.

If the bus is going to park at the resort I think the current rule is that you need a dining reservation at that resort to park. This doesn’t seem to be consistently enforced though, seems to depend on who is working the gate and if the resort is busy or not.
You might have better luck getting dropped off at ticket and transportation then using the monorail/boats/walkway to tour the MK resorts. Then get dropped off at HS and take the boat or walkway over to tour the Epcot resorts.

It sounds like a fun idea but unfortunately they have really cracked down on resort hopping using personal transportation. They typically don't allow you to enter without an ADR. As PP said, your best bet is to use Disney transportation to resort hop.

Is this the case even when the transportation is not parking, but is just dropping us off?

Yes especially during the holidays and extra secure for Xmas- NYE …
I am sure not many were actually a guest at BLT for this recent Covid NYE but myself and 2 grandchildren walking towards MK and Castmember stop to verify you are an actual BLT/ Contemporary Resort Guest and check your Magic Bands
Super Security to control access… I expect this for 50th Holiday also.

Thanks for the feedback. This is during November. Not sure if these resort access restrictions will be lifted in the same manner as other restrictions but I guess we will reassess as it gets closer.

Also, some of the resorts may not be completely decorated for the holidays when you go mid November.
