We went to the Halloween party this year and watched the first parade in Frontierland then walked over to by Crystal palace to see the fireworks. Problem was there was a lot of dead wasted time between the two and I felt like I was missing rides and such doing it. We are going to the Christmas party on the 21st. My son wants to see the whole slew of entertainment including the stage show, castle lighting, fireworks and parade. When is the best time to do this in the evening so we maximize our time and where would be the best spot to stake out for the whole slew of entertainments? Would the later parades shows be better or what? What time should we be finding a seat? I need your best advice!! Thanks!! Also, is there a standard time for all of these shows and parades on party nights? Thanks!!

I have some ideas from things that we have tried over the years- maybe a few will work for you. We also usually do Liberty Tree for dinner on our party night!
1. After LTT dinner- stake out a spot for the first Parade in Frontierland. With a 5:30 ADR and the restaurant most likely being booked solid, it may take 1 1/2 -2 hours to finish your meal. Once the parade passes you, hit as many rides as you can in Frontierland, Adventureland & Liberty Square. Fireworks are at 9:30- we've had a great view of them from the bridge between the lands without having to be squeezed in too tight! ;) Afterwards take in a show, characters, or some rides in Fantasyland and head around the back path into Tommorowland. You will hit less crowds than trying to get through Main Street /the Hub. Enjoy Tommorowland and Stitch's Christmas show and then take in the late ( 11:30ish )Castle show. Obviously if character meet & greets are important to you- make some time for that. Hope this helps! Enjoy the Party!

Most websites universally recommend doing the second parade if you're there that late because families with small children leave early.
