Hi everyone - wondering when to expect park decorations to change?
We have trip NOV 7-13th - think we will see any Christmas decorations around MK, or will it all still be fall?!
How fast do they change for seasons?!

This year is all unpredictable. In years past by those dates you would see change at MK, DHS, AK and resorts start decorating as well, this year we just don't know
By this time last year MK was decked out for Halloween, this year decorations and celebration starts September 15

I have seen fall decorations on October 31st then wake up to November 1st and it's Christmas....it's called Disney Magic. You will see them....I'm sure!

Hi. I'm going in November. I've never seen the Christmas decorations in the parks. Do you think they will have snow drops this year? I heard it was near

Snow drops...I assume you mean the bubbles of snow during the Christmas party? They would only do that during the party, and there’s no word if there will be parties this year.

We were there last year for the last week of October - Halloween was a Thursday and we left on Nov. 2nd (Saturday). The last Halloween Party was Nov. 1st (Friday night) and by the next morning some of the Christmas decorations were up in the MK. I went to the Contemporary Resort and their gingerbread house was up - Maybe on Friday Nov. 1st? It was the official opening of it and they had a chef there to sign things and were selling the special pins - and I bought some gingerbread. I don't recall that any other gingerbread creations were up at the other resorts. I found Christmas merchandise in the AK earlier in the week and by that Saturday morning (Nov. 2nd) it was in all the stores.

Of course this year who knows?!? I wouldn't be surprised if Christmas is handled like Halloween/Fall with the decorating coming later than usual and less offerings - and perhaps no gingerbread houses at least in the way they've done them in the past (perhaps they'd attract more crowding in the hotel lobbies?). Hopefully the will switch over by the time you're there!

Just read the following: Christmas decorations will be from November 6 to December 30, 2020 and the Castle will not have lights and there will be no gingerbread displays at any of the resorts.

Just read that..

We know how much our guests love the holidays, so from Nov. 6-Dec. 30, they will be able to enjoy festive décor, themed merchandise, seasonal food & beverage offerings and entertainment all across Walt Disney World Resort. Holiday magic will be in full force at the four theme parks and Disney Springs, and Santa Claus will make time for special pop-up appearances at each location, waving and exclaiming holiday wishes to all.

Guests will be delighted by the sight of festive flotillas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, holiday promenades at EPCOT and merry motorcades at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Character cavalcades at Magic Kingdom Park will take on a special holiday twist, with Christmas friends on festive floats in their holiday finest. Gingerbread Men? Check! Elves and Reindeer? Check, check! And, my personal favorite, the Toy Soldiers, will join the Main Street Philharmonic as they march through Magic Kingdom Park, bringing musical holiday cheer for all to hear.

any additional discussion on this move it to the official holiday festivities page
