Christmas Parade Viewing and Dinner before Christmas Wishes

If we are going from Dumbo around 2:15 pm to Christmas parade (3:30 on 12/20) to Space Mountain, where is the best place to plan to watch the parade without being in the middle of the crazy crowd? Also, we will be grabbing dinner that same night right before or after the Castle lighting (7:15) and Holiday Wishes (8) after being in Tomorrowland until around 7. I have found no reservations for dinner that night and did not like the crazy crowd at cosmic Rays that time of night last time so what are some other options where we don't have to cross the park and get in the middle of the Main Street crowds? Is Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant open and can you see the fireworks from there? The dessert party is not an option. If we do decide to head to Main Street is the Plaza inside or outside? I have a ressie for 3 but need 5. I am trying really hard to get a BOG dinner at 6 or 6:30 but no luck so far! We will be heading to Adventureland after so could we see the castle show and Wishes and eat from that area? Holiday Wishes is at 8 this night- no party.

My plan with your schedule would be to try for the area of Liberty Square or where Frontierland transitions into Liberty Square. If the parade starts in Frontierland, you can join the people at the end of the parade and follow through to the Main Street and cross over to Tomorrowland. Or, what I would do even if it is a bit more walking, cut back into Fantasyland as soon as the parade passes and head over to Tomorrowland.

Tomorrowland Terrace may be open earlier in the day, but since the dessert party is held from there, if there it might not be open for dinner as that is where the dessert party is held.

If you must eat at that time of evening, you might needed cross the park if you do not want to eat at Cosmic Rays. You can always try to grabbing snacks in Tomorrowland to hold you until you get to a different portion of the park. I would suggest double checking Cosmic Rays. The crowds sometimes start decreasing closer to the castle lighting, not always, but sometimes.

Also, keep checking for reservations, they may open up as you get closer to your date.
