No word yet. Last year was Nov 10th-13th. So likely around then or maybe slightly later in Nov

The filming had been the first weekend in December for many years, but it switched to November last year. I don't know if here's any way to predict if they'll go back to the December dates or keep it in November.

Disney doesn't really announce but the press tells you when to expect it. Usually it's pretty close so maybe you'll hear early nov if they are doing nov again (doubt this). otherwise it'll be near the end of november that you hear about it being the first week of december..

Last year was the only year that they filmed in november. They actually swapped with DL. I think the crowds that came in for osbourne lights were so insane that they found a lower crowd week to do the filming. I don't expect it to be nov this year.

The filming was the first weekend in December (the week after Thanksgiving) for several years. We were there about 4 years in a row that week and had to deal with it. If I remember right, it seemed like some years room discounts/free dining had a break around the parade taping dates. I think we assumed that was because that was the weekend the Pop Warner kids were coming in. But-- last year the parade taped November 10-13. If you look at the current room discount offered by Disney, it indicates there is a break from November 10 to 13 this year , but the discounts are being offered during Pop Warner week. That makes we wonder if the parade taping is going to be around the same dates as last year. I thought the change last year was due to the schedule of one or more of the stars, but maybe the change was a bit more permanent.

what do you mean? They have given tickets to CM to come and join the taping in the past, nothing is posted on the HUB about the taping yet

On Parade taping day, CMs' guests can only enter if they have a special voucher - awarded by lottery.

It's so CMs in the parade can hopefully have family members watch the taping.

Yes. The tree will be up a day or two after the parade portion is completed.

Someone on this board said Disney no longer uses a platform that use to be setup where the tree is setup.

That was the first year I saw it up (surprised me as I thought it interfered with cameras pointed up main street and not just the platform.

I guess its possible they found a way to work around it. I mean if I was Disney I would want that tree up during all the Christmas parties.
