Christmas Parade Taping

I read rumors on FB today that taping for the parade will be Dec 3-5. These are supposed to be our MK days. For veterens who have been to the park on taping days, how bad is it? I'm trying to stay positve and not let this put a dark cloud on our trip. Any advice or help suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I've read that the castle is blocked off and that there are big cranes/cameras all over the place.

We've gone twice during taping days & actually the rides were pretty much walk ons because everyone is trying to get face time in the taping. We scurried through the shops & headed back to the left to Jungle Cruise, etc. We just basically went the opposite direction of everything that was happening. Biggest congestion was when they were taping at the Castle Forecourt. That was 2 years ago, but that was our experience. We didn't know what taping was scheduled for what days either, as they seem to break things up a lot. No matter what, have fun!!
