Christmas Parade Taping

I posted this question on the Theme Park Thread and have not gotten any responses so I'll post it here instead.

I found out that they will be taping the parade from the 3rd to the 5th of December while we are in WDW. So does anyone who maybe has been at WDW during previous tapings have any idea what to expect? As of right now we are not scheduled to go to the parks on the 5th (parade taping day) but will be there on the 3rd & 4th. From what I read these are the days they will be taping the performances in front of the castle. We have 2 kids under the age of 6 so we will be spending much of our time in the MK.

So will there be a bunch of celebrities there? I know that the Poly is very popular with celebrities and that is where we will be staying.

We have been to the taping several times in the past years. We haven't been in a few years, but it was a nice experience. They typically have singers that are popular. In the past we have seen Aaron Carter (try 8 years ago), Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, Raven Simone. They typically have some singing in front of the castle and some on floats down main street. Regis and Kelly are always there. We saw Kelly Ripa and her kids walking around Epcot one year with several CMs.

Sometimes we have also seen all of the Disney characters out for the opening number and such (Mickey, Minnie, etc.)

Don't know who they would have this year, but guessing maybe some of the popular stars from Disney channel. Corbin Bleu has a recent album and went on the DCL this summer, so he is a possibility. Maybe some other Disney Channel stars, particularly those with albums. . . . . that would mean maybe Demi L, Selena Gomez, and some like that. Half of the fun is anticipating who you may see . . .. Have fun!!!!!

By the way, it is contained to main street and in front of the castle usually, so the rides and attractions should not be affected.

I had hoped for more responses since there are so many people on the DIS who had to have been there at some point to get other views. Guess others are just shy about it
