Christmas Parade questions...

When and how do they film the parade they show on Christmas morning? Is it the same one they have at night during MVMCP? Do they film it all at once on the same day, or at different times and then edit it together? Do they just do filming at the Magic Kingdom, or do they film AK and DS/MGM parades, too? Is it a nightmare experience, or kind of fun? Anyone ever been there for it? What was it like???

I do know they are usually filming the first weekend in December every year while we are there. You cant miss the crowd as you enter the MK in the morning.

The filming is being done on Dec. 3rd this year. They do celeb spots earlier and later in different parks, but the main taping is done on Main Street on that Saturday. They film the float segments, etc. I have wanted to go for a long time, but dd is only 4 and I don't think she'd sit through it. It sounds boring - float goes down the street, retake, float goes again, retake, etc., etc. I just might make my way there though just to say "I was there"!
