Looks good to me!!

We're staying at the GF during taping. wonder if we'll see any of the stars? How cool would that be!

I bet you will Denise! That's usually where they stay, especially Regis and Kelly!

Is Hayden Christensen going to be in Florida or will he be in Cali?

I will be there so I really would like to know!

He is so cool!!

He was supposed to be in Orlando last weekend. They were going to film him riding Soarin. DD had been picked to ride with him along with other teens from the area. The call for the filming was at 4am. At the last minute Hayden Christensen cancelled. The agent said that it was possible they would reschedule. We haven't heard anything yet. Needless to say, DD was disappointed.

Could anyone tell me what day the parade is filmed on. We will be there Nov 30-Dec 7.

 :wave2: princess: princess:

The filming takes place on Dec 2nd and 3rd.

Out of the celebrities listed,

Are they going to be at WDW? and if so will they be there on the 2nd and 3rd?

What about Regis? Will he be at WDW on the 2nd and 3rd?

Another thing...........how do you get to be on Main St. during the filming?

Everyone says they close it off but surely people are there. Do they pick people are do you just have to get there before they close it off?

There was a link for annual pass holders to submit an e-mail to Kelly and Regis to be there for one of the taping times. We were chosen for the morning taping on the 2nd. I am waiting for the follow-up e-mail to arrive with our parking and parade passes. I am so excited. The tapings on the 2nd and 3rd are full. However, there was a message today saying to check back on the 28th to see if there will be any more openings.

yes but, it also says this on the same page:

WDW Cast Members and Annual Pass Holders are allowed entrance, just like a regular park day, without making a reservation, by showing their Cast/Pass Holder ID.

Does this maybe mean that as an AP holder you can have access without reservation? To me that's what it means unless Im purely mistaken. I would assume this isn't speaking about general park entrance as that site is not a Disney site but the entertainment company's site. So I assume AP holders can get to the parade.

Don't know who will be where. Kelly and Regis are definately at MK, but they may not be there on 12/2 or 12/3. They may tape after or before. You never know! I so hope Julie Andrews is at MK. I love her! And my dd is going to flip over the Little Einsteins float! I so hope we see that the morning we will be there for the taping!

This statement is a pretty new addition to the site. I know that I accessed the lightship site via the AP site. It said nothing about just using your AP to get in. So, I sent the email, am scheduled to do the Fri, early morning taping. Now, since the slots were all filled, they added the AP holders statement. So, I'm basically not sure what it means. I know that I was told that they are sending emails out, to those of us who got 'chosen', on the 28th, that will tell us what time, give us parking passes. We have to enter a certain turnstyle and then will be told where we are to go....evidently they are putting certain people in set areas along the parade route. My info that I got from them, says that when we check in at the appropriate turnstyle, give them our voucher, they will give us wristbands and sent to a holding area to await further instruction. So....I guess anyone who wanted to, could watch from along Main St., but it seems that they will be taping a bit before park opening, and from what the instruction sheet says, we are to stay in our designated areas. THis should be interesting to say the least. I'm glad I'm going to be alone since it can get very boring to just stand and wait for 45 mins for the parade float to come past you, then another long wait. It's certainly not like watching the regular parade.

I was actually pretty upset to see that statement! Yes, I am an AP holder, but I went through the trouble of registering and waiting patiently for my response, when all I had to do was show up? I don't know. It will be interesting that's for sure! I am going to get the voucher printed and go with what it says because I still don't know if I can just show up at 7:00 am with my AP and get in. Also would rather have a designated spot along the route.

That's pretty much how I felt also. But I don't think those with just APs will be able to be directed to a particular area. But I could be wrong. The thing I'm more concerned with is...those that head on in to MK at park opening, then start pushing and shoving their way to the front of the viewing areas. This more than annoys me at the regular parades...forget the Christmas taping. I know that if my family and I get to a spot for the parade 45 mins before the parade and 'stake' out our spot, it bothers me a lot when someone else gets there about 5 mins before the parade starts and then just edges up bit by bit until they are literally on top of me, then they try stepping in front, saying..."Oh, but my dd can't see if she doesnt' stand if front!" I don't begrudge anyone a good spot, but for crying out loud, can't they get there early and wait like the rest of us??
I know that I'm going to be a bit peeved if someone starts edging past me, when I've been a good doobie, and stood in my 'assigned' spot since the beginning. I try to be happy and not be a pain but I have my limits. If you want a front row spot, get there early!!!!

On a slightly different note....my info says 'no video, photo, or autograph requests'...does this mean that you can't ask for a 'special shot with a celeb' or that you can't have your camera to take shots of the parade, like we usually would?

On that note, nevermind for me! While I like parades and celebrities, my entire enjoyment is the photo or the video. If I can't get that then I'd just rather not go through so much to see it.

I also agree with you about the people who go to the front so late.

They do it for fireworks as well. In areas where it's crowded, you wait forever and then a parent with kids comes up and wants to let their children go right to the front and really dont care that everyone else has waited. I dont blame the child, I blame the parent.

I really hope so too! Any info anyone?????? Crossing fingers she will be at MK!!!

I'll tell ya, I get down right rude to people that can't make it a point to get a spot for the parade and try to shove their way in. I try to be nice, but I can only be nice for so long.

I noticed too, no pictures, video, etc. That kind of makes me irritated too. You know that everyone in the park that sees it is going to stop and take picutres, but we can't. Oh, I am just venting. I don't care really - afterall, we'll be IN WDW!!!!!!!!

It just gets me wondering...do they perhaps mean that we can't ask for the celebreties to stop and pose for a photo? I hope that's the case..I am so going to want to take some shots, but we'll see. If I can't, then so be it. Not that big of an issue.

My understanding was that people cast as extras will be placed in certain area for the parade or the celebrity spots. This gives them control.
