I know there is no way of knowing who is going to be performing ahead of time. But..when I get there can I ask a CM who will be performing and where that day? Do you think they would tell me? Anyone know??
Thanks,
Kimba :paw:

They might have an idea who is performing. They may not be able to give you an accurate time though because it all depends on the filming when they will perform.

BUMP..
don't know the answer to your question... but wondering if anyone knows when this is being filmed this year???

I just read something that said the Christmas Day parade was going to be broadcast LIVE from WDW on Christmas morning. If that was true, I'd stay away from the MK on Christmas morning. Something about the 50th anniversary. It may just be a way to make people think it is live. Or they could have it live with taped acts included. ET is 10A-12P.

Deb&Bill... it is not "live" in the sense of the term... As long as it has 5 to 10 percent of the filming live they can say that it is Live...They do this by doing the areial shots of the parks on Live feed. The actual parade is being filmed on December 3...and the performances are pre-recorded.

To the original question, the actual performers are not always there the same time they film the parade. They have between December 3 and Christmas eve to come in for filiming, just depends on their schedules. A lot of times these are set up on pretty short notice. Most CM's will not have this information unless they are working with the filming crew (media department).
