Christmas Palm Tree?

Please tell me this is a joke? A coworker told me she is going to Walmart to pick up one of these.

I've seen them before, although not necessarily at Walmart. They're usually a fake palm tree covered in white lights, but I'd be curious to hear what she ends up getting.

Don't get me started on the flamingos with santa hats on though.

Maybe, but not Christmasy (at least not to me). My co-worker is sweet, but kinda funny if you know what I mean. She is pregnant right now and DH and I always joke about how her kids are going to end up.

Funny but I probably wouldn't have bought one before this year. Living in New England I've always felt like everything should revolve around traditional Christmas items. BUT, this Christmas we're going to be in Hawaii and tropical Christmas items seem like a good idea. I saw a Santa figure at JC Penney a few weeks ago and I had to buy him. He's about a foot tall and he's wearing a tropical shirt and shorts. He's carrying a surfboard and has a pair of sunglasses, along with a straw hat, on his head. Maybe I should get the palm tree to go with him!!

The real ones look festive but those fake ones are truly hideoous. I put them right up there with those blow ups. ick!

I have him. He was a gift. My husband couldn't believe it when we opened him.

Okay, I want one of those!! HaHa!!

I loved ours, it looked hysterical outside in the snow. After the holidays we ended up moving it in the backyard and keeping it out year round, when we moved we gave it to our parents friends for their deck. And yes I also owned a pink flamingo!
