Christmas/New Years Week Entertainment Schedule

Thank you for clarifying, much appreciated.

After Dec 31st... is the castle still light up each evening? by a show? or just turned on? and until when?
Is this information known yet? :o
Information is not out yet. But the show itself will probably stop on the 31st. In the past they have lit up the castle just no show, they have done it until marathon weekend

Anyone else wondering how the lack of nighttime parade at MK will affect crowds?

In the past, people would make a mass exodus after the first parade. I'm wondering if A) the parks will see lower crowds after Wishes now or 2) whether the rides will see a slight reprieve in wait times now (seeing as there's no parade to pull guests away.)

Ok thank you for sharing that. That helps with plans :)

They finally posted Fantasy in the Sky
at 11:50 30th and 31st

Awesome thanks! Now we just need to figure out if its possible to do the candle light at Epcot at 6PM, head to HS for both fireworks shows, then to MK for the 11:50 Fantasy in the Sky all on the 30th.

I will tell you right now that will not be possible. Right now, the Star Wars fireworks is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. and Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. at Hollywood Studios. Candlelight Processional is approx. 50 minutes long. From there, you would exit out of the International Gateway exit and take about a 30 minute boat ride to Hollywood Studios or walk (That could take about as long also). That would put you at Hollywood Studios at approximately 7:45-8:00 p.m. From there, you would be able to see Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM. After that, you would probably be able to exit the park, take a bus to Magic Kingdom, and maybe get into Magic Kingdom. The only reason why I say "maybe" is a lot of people that travel during the big holidays (4th of July and New Years) know that the Magic Kingdom perform their special fireworks for two nights. So, a lot of people will go to Magic Kingdom the day before (the 30th) and everyone will then go to EPCOT on the actual holiday. That way people are seeing two shows. Saying that, the days that the Magic Kingdom could possibly close are December 30th and December 31st. Now, I'm planning on being at Magic Kingdom on the 30th and EPCOT on the 31st with no park hopping for that reason. I will repeat what yulilin3 said above...May the Force be with you!

Yea I imagine it will be tight, we will consider dropping HS off the itinerary, otherwise, I think it is doable...even if we have to take an uber to MK. Im not even sure we want to enter MK until after the fireworks are over anyways, we dont mind watching from some point outside the park to avoid the craziness.

Consider that you can't take a hired car "to MK" at all.
You can take the hired car to the TTC/MK parking lot guest drop-off and then you must take a monorail or ferry boat over to the MK gates.
-Or- you can take the hired car to the Contemporary Resort and then walk from there over to the MK gates.
If you do go to TTC, you can see and hear the MK fireworks very well from there.

Another choice is to take the new park-hopping aide, the Express Transportation buses from INSIDE Epcot (or DHS) over to INSIDE MK (terminates near Buzz Lightyear.)

Good call, we had planned just to go to the contemporary, but the Express buses sound awesome, I didnt know those existed. I wonder how well those would work....
