Welcome to the DIS UK Kim :) !

The tickets for the CP dinner package have not yet gone on sale. Once they do, you can book through Disney on 00 1 407 939 3463 (last 7 digits stand for WDW DINE!)

Many people find the Magic Kingdom too crowded for them on Christmas Day but if you do want to go there, the Liberty Tree Tavern probably is the closest meal to our own Christmas meal! Personally I'd go for one of the resort restaurants such as 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian - it is a buffet type meal with carvery meats, and the children can go and help themselves from the main counter or the special children's counter.

I'd consider EPCOT for NYE where you can go around some of the countries celebrating their New Year as it arrives e.g. in UK, New Year will be 7.00pm! Another option would be to go to Universal for NYE.
Do make your dining arrangements for Christmas Day early - outside the World, many restaurants (apart from some of the fast food chains, are closed).

The only thing certain about the weather in December is that it is unpredictable!! I would go prepared for anything, keeping your trip to the beach as a maybe, and see how the weather is once you are there.

Hi shirley
Thanks for your reply new year at epcot sounds perfect.
If candlelight prossesional meal package is on that night do you think it would be too much to cram into one day.

I have heard some of the parks stop cars entering when parks are full, what if you have booking for park restaurant, do they allow you in or is it just tough luck.

I am still unsure of plans for xmas meal. m.k sounds more like a challenge than a pleasure.I would like something special ,but. without the hassel ( not asking much am I )

;)

thanks. kim
