Our local soft rock radio station has gone to Christmas music 24/7, from now until Christmas! I can only get this one station in at work, and I already have had enough Christmas music today. I like to have some type of background noise while I work, so I am going to have to start bringing in my own CD's.

Anyone else have a station that does this in their town?

I WISH I had a station like that near me. Anyone know of one? NYC, Long Island, etc?

Wow 24-7? thats a lot of christmas music. I love christmas but not that much. I would understand if they played so many christmas songs an hour but that is too much. I feel for you.

This is the second year that they are doing this. I would have hoped that they could have waited until after Thanksgiving to start though!

Yes, KOSI 101 started here in Denver on November 15th.

I actually love it :)

Actually, Charleneluvsdisney, there are now *two* local stations playing Christmas music 24/7 - Q102 and 96.1. It's quite the battle, as 96 is saying they are the "original" Christmas music station and I think 102 is saying they are the "best"?

I love it! :) :D

Yes - here in Rhode Island it is 93.3 WSNE. Is Delilah (sp?) the DJ at night?

I agree, I think they should have waited until after Thanksgiving to play Christmas music. I really enjoy Christmas music but this is too much!!

Yep - 94.5 3WS (WWSW) here in Pittsburgh is doing it, too - they started Friday. I had to switch stations because it's just too soon to be playing Christmas music all day long. I can understand on Dec. 23, 24 and 25, but November???? After Thanksgiving they can start with a couple of Christmas songs every hour, but not every single song!

WOW! I didn't know that. 102 is my son's favorite station. I usually have that on in the car when he is with me. It looks like a lot of Christmas music for me.

LOL - I just heard the blurb about being the first and original Christmas music station!!

I really like Christmas music, but, I am at my desk 9 hours a day, I would just like a break every now and then. Although, here I am dis'ing instead of working!!

We have one--WRVF, "the river" plays "christmas on the river". They were going to wait until Friday but had so many calls that they started 11/22.
It's nice for a while, but if you are really into Christmas music (like me!) you notice there playlist isn't as large as it could be--in two days I heard Annie Lennox's version of "Winter Wonderland" 3 times and I wasn't even listening all day.

I'm not sure if we have any radio stations like that or not, as I don't listen to the radio very often. But I love the "sounds of the seasons" channel on our satellite TV, this time of year it's all Christmas music, I love it!! :D

I wish we had a station like that. I listen to Sounds of the Seasons on our TV too, and when I'm Dising, I have live 365 on listening to one of their Christmas channels.

104.5 out of Philadelphia is playing non-stop Christmas music until December26. We made it a button on both cars' radios.

One of our radio stations in Oklahoma City did this last year. I haven't checked with them yet. I'm usually not into Christmas before Thanksgiving. Hope they are doing it again. I wouldn't want to listen to it 24/7, but it's nice when it's there when I want to listen. I like to tune in while riding in the car.

I think it is any Clearchannel station. Ours is doing it, too.
