Christmas Lights

I was just wondering if someone can tell me what date the Christmas lights stay on until at MK and HS? My son and a friend of his just came back from their senior trip and would like to go back when their both on winter break from college. Thank you.

Last year the last date of the Osborne lights was January 3rd. This year will probably be January 2nd. The Christmas decorations come down pretty fast after January 1st, but can be sometimes up until the 5th or 6th, but there is no guarantees after the 2nd or so.

I am planning on going the very end of October and was wondering when the Christmas decorations go up. I may extend the vacation a couple days to see the Holiday decorations if possible.

Decorations typically begin going up just after Halloween, one park at a time. The Magic Kingdom usually makes the switch most quickly, as the Christmas Party usually begins the first week in November, and the park needs to be fully decorated for the first one.
Resorts are decorated over the month of November, and the order changes each year.
