Christmas lights question

Hi everyone

I bought some Christmas lights in the USA last year. Is it safe to just plug them into a USA-UK adapter plug (like this), or do I need some kind of special transformer?

Thanks for any help, I'm clueless and DH is away!!!

You'll need a transformer. Sorry I can't advise which one as I've always avoided buying US electrical goods for that very reason.

You will need to buy a voltage convertor, we bought ours from Maplin Electronics (for my Mickey tree lights that I bought at WDW!!)
