How are the crowds on Christmas Day at WDW, and how are the crowds the week following Christmas Day??

Thanks

;)

Hello PMart,
My girlfriend and I took a WDW trip during the post Christmas week. The crowds were definitely plentiful, ESPECIALLY on New Year's Eve. Any of your plans MUST include waking up and being AT THE GATES before they open. Stay onsite to take advantage of EE and take afternoon naps so that you'll survive the vacation :). Also, being hydrated is a must! good luck!

I remember reading somewhere that Christmas Day is one of (if not) THE busiest day at MK. I was there for Christmas 1988. It was the most crowded I've ever seen it! Crowds aside, I would tell everyone to experience Christmas "Disney style" at least once in their lifetime. No one does Christmas (music, decorations, etc.) like Disney.

I was there in Christmas 2001. The crowds weren't that bad. (Remember this is 3 months after 9/11 so alot of people cancelled their vacations around that time.)

Here's a hint: If you are staying onsite, go the park that offered early entry until about 10am THEN LEAVE. Whatever park has entry entry tends to be the busiest park on that day. If you are not staying onsite, DO NOT go to the early entry park that day.
