Does Universal do Christmas in November like WDW? Also what are the crowd levels usually like the week before Thanksgiving?

Yes. It starts the weekend of 11/17 this year ( not sure if it's the 16th or 17th). The weekend before Thanksgiving the last couple years hasn't been too bad. We were there Sat through Tues the week of Thanksgiving. But by Mon and Tues it's very busy. Last year they were crowd level 10 days.

A plus side about Universal is that all the activities / shows / offers in relation to Christmas is for everyone.

We were there the week before Thanksgiving and I don't remember the crowd levels being ridiculous but we did leave to go home the Sunday before Thanksgiving. They did have an AP preview event the Saturday night before Thanksgiving that allowed AP holders first glimpse at the Christmas decorations and Grinch musical. Not sure if they are doing that this year but attendance my be up a little if that is the case.

Thank you!

We went the week of thanksgiving beginning the weekend before and crowds were fine up until thanksgiving. We actually went to universal on Thanksgiving day. The Friday and Saturday after were crazy busy though.
